Description

17. DESCRIPTION: Maintenance dredging of approximately 500,000 cubic yards of material from the Grays Harbor Cow Point and Hoquiam Reaches, WA. Disposal is to be by bottom dump barge at South Jetty open water disposal site. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications package. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. Disks will be available on or about 15 Nov 2000 at no charge per set, issued on a first come, first served basis. No phone requests accepted. Firms desiring a copy of the EBS must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ The disks will be mailed when available. They are also available from the District Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 with a completion period of 60 calendar days. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your bid or proposal will exceed $1,000,000 you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan. For the purposes of this procurement a concern is considered a small business if its average annual receipts are $17 million or less. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 234990. The proposed procurement is unrestricted, to result in a firm fixed price contract.
