Description

Requirements are 44 Each, M242 Cover Assemblies. FOB is Destination. For use on the M242 25MM Machine gun. Estimated NSN: 3040-01-300-3156, Part Number 12524487. The item to procure is a Connecting Link for the M242 Machine Gun. This item is machined Stainless Steel Precipitation hardened to condition H1025; surface treatment is per QQ-P-35; 2 threaded holes to M6 X 1-6H; 2 slots 8.0MM LG. by 4.76MM. Overall length is 147.84MM. AIE will be required prior to production. An Initial Product Inspection will be required from the First Production Lot. This item is to be produced IAW ISO 9003 quality standards. NOTICE AWARD WILL NOT BE MADE BASED ON PRICE ALONE, BUT ON EVALUATION OF PRICE AND PAST PERFORMANCE. PAST PERFORMANCE IS CONSIDERED MORE IMPORTANT THAN PRICE. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
