DUE: ASAP POC: Jeffrey Phillip/ 210-671-1723/ Jeffrey.phillip@lackland.af.mil This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes/offers will not be considered), on requisition F41636-01-TC005, to fax number (210-671-1199). Project is the purchase of two Mezzanine buildings, Size: 30_x 36_, with a capacity of 125 PSF, cleared height of 6_6_ lower level, a cleared height top level of 6_6_, top of deck height 7_6_, 4_x4_ landing with stairway, railing all the way around with one drop gate for top loading, and plywood floor decking 1 1/8_. This solicitation also include the purchase of a Belt Booster Portable Conveyor, Belt width 14_, bed width 20_, with a height elevation at 30 degrees incline, elevation at 30 degrees is 8_ 5_, a 34 HP motor, black ruff top belt, speed 65 FPM, Hydraulic elevation device, 20 foot power cord. Price will include the delivery and installation of all parts. Delivery is to be within 15 days of award to FOB destination, building 5189, BMT warehouse, Lackland AFB TX. This purchase is restricted to small business, size 500 employees. This solicitation document incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular, 97-18, North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 332311. Note that the provisions at FAR 52.212-1, instructions to offerors _ Commercial Terms, applies to this acquisition. In addition, the clause at FAR 52.212-5 (Dev), Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders-Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. Specifically the following clauses cited are applicable. FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; FAR 52.222-36; Affirmative Action for the Handicapped Workers. The clause at DFAR 252.212-7001 (Dev), Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement the statutes or Executes Orders applicable to the Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applicable to this solicitation. Specifically the following clauses cited are also applicable: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. Offerors must include with their offers a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certification _ Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000 (Dev), Offerors Representation and Certification Commercial Items. Also applicable by reference is DFAR 252.204-7004, required Central Contracting Registration (CCR). The CCR can be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423. Confirmation of CCR registration must be obtained before award can be made. Award will be based on meeting the requirement, evaluation of the lowest price, and responsible offer/quote. Send quote to the name indicated above. Quotes are required to be submitted not later than 4:00 PM (CST), 9 Nov 00, and acceptance must be good for 30 days. Award is anticipated to be made by 13 Nov 00.
