Description

This modification to the previous CBD synopsis is being published to change this acquisition to a small business set-aside, add a 50% option, and change the points of contact as specified below. The U.S. Army CECOM Acquisition Center intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for (3) three each Circuit Card Assemblies, NSN:5998-01-262-2462,Part Number: SM-D-873908, (3) three each Circuit Card Assemblies, NSN:5998-01-262-2472, Part Number: C5116783, (3) three each Circuit Card Assemblies, NSN:5998-01-260-2791, Part Number: SM-D-873490, (3)each Circuit Card Assemblies, NSN:5998-01-262-2470, Part Number: C5116870, and (3) each Circuit Card Assemblies, NSN: 5998-01-260-2785,Part Number:C5116877 to be used in support of the Advanced Quicklook Guardrail program. This is a small business set-aside and all responsible small business sources may participate. There is a 50% option included. A CD-ROM drawing is available upon written request to the contracting officer/contract specialist at fax (732) 532-2739 or via their E-Mail address. The request for quote (RFQ) will be available electronically via the Business Opportunities Page (BOP). The U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the BOP website to allow electronic transmittal of Requests For Proposals (RFPs)and Invitation For Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send, and receive information from the BOP at (http://abop.monmouth.army.mil). Upon accessing this web-page, click on CECOM Business Opportunities. You may access potential business opportunities by simply typing "guest" for the log-on ID and password. Registration for a user-ID and password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposals to CECOM through the BOP. Offers and bids shall be submitted in hard copy at the time and place specified in the solicitation. Quotations shall be submitted directly to the contract specialist. The forecasted due date for bids will be December 4th 2000,however this is subject to change.
