Description

Provide a quality, on-site job placement program for approximately 202 graduated students and 21 eligible non-graduated students at the Mingo Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center located near Puxico, Missouri. The Job Corps provides young adults the necessary job training which enables them to gain meaningful employment upon graduation. The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) mandates that Job Corps graduates be provided with transition, placement, and support services for one year following graduation. The contractor will provide the necessary personnel to conduct a Career Development Services System (CDSS) as outlined in the Job Corps Policy Requirements handbook (PRH). Contract period is for a base of date of award through June 30, 2001, and four (4) option years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
