- Description
- Subject solicitation is modified as follows: Page 34, Section D.3. Inspections and Preventive Maintenance. Add: Paragraph D.3.2. First-time maintenance equipment: During this 30-day period the contractor shall reject any first-time maintenance service equipment if the contractor deems it to be in poor operating condition. Failure to reject such equipment shall constitute acceptance. The contractor shall submit a rejection notice to the Contracting Officer, along with a cost proposal to place the equipment in such condition as to make it acceptable for maintenance service. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to either order the equipment repaired or to delete the specific item of equipment from the contract. Add: Paragraph D.3.3. Equipment maintained under previous contract: Any equipment maintained under a previous contract shall be deemed acceptable for maintenance under any contract resulting from this solicitation. All other terms, conditions, and specifications remain the same.
