Description

The Department of Energy (DOE) intends to award a five year purchase order to MEDEX ASSISTANCE CORPORATION under 41USC 252 (c) (1) one responsible source. The award will cover five years. The firm will provide assistance to DOE employees on travel in foreign countries, particularly the third world counties were medical care is inadequate. The services are based on availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist DOE employees in locating adequate medical assistance, language interpreting assistance with the Doctors and when required -- evacuate the employee to another country for modern medical assistance. The price is $165 per person per year . Maximum value over five years is $100,000. Interested firms must submit a complete proposal concerning their medical assistance program, references and price per person. Additionally, firms will provide a list of their largest seven clients who are receiving similar services. See Note(s) 22 *****
