Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR PLANNING PURPOSES. Provide all personnel, equipment, tools materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform Oil/Water Separators, Grease Traps, and Sump Tank Services for an estimated 16 oil/water seperators, 12 sump tanks, and 9 grease traps on Tyndall AFB FL. Service includes removal and proper disposal of non-hazardous oil, grease, and sludge, for a basic contract period, and four one-year options. Anticipated issue date of the solicitation is 10 December 00. The SIC code for this acquisition is 4953 (Other Non-hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal) (NAIC Code 562219) with a size standard of $6M. The requirement will be procured as a Commercial Item, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and utilizing a Performance Price Tradeoff selection procedure. In conformance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 19.13 or FAR 19.8 and, this acquisition is being considered for HUB Zone set-aside or 8(a) set-aside. Access FAR at www.hillfarsite.af.mil. If your firm is HUB Zone certified or 8(a) certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to this office not later than 10 days after publication of this notice: (1) SBA certification of HUB Zone eligibility or 8(a) eligibility (2) capability statement for firm including references; and (3) a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on these responses, we will make a determination whether to set aside as a HUB Zone set-aside, 8(a) set-aside, or small business set-aside.
