Description

The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified printing firms capable of producing a variety of high-end printed materials for various Trust departments at the Presidio of San Francisco. The Presidio is a National Park and National Historic Landmark. Scope of work includes producing high-end materials such as four-color monthly newsletters, annual reports, informational booklets, postcards, letters and other mailings. The Trust anticipates awarding an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a base term plus multiple option years. Minimum qualifications include: location in San Francisco or the Peninsula; ability to print "direct to plate;" ability to scan 35mm slides in-house; reliable and available sales and support staff; ability to meet a 5 to 7 day turnaround time from receipt of disc, digital files, or slides to the time the publication is delivered to the mailhouse; demonstrated sustainable practices; and in-house bindery capability (or a relationship with a bindery in San Francisco or the Peninsula). Service Contract Act (U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage rates) applies. Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), which may include but are not limited to: (a) Past performance including references; (b) Quality of work samples; (c) Turn-around time capability; and (d) Proposed prices/fees. DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. This procurement is set aside for competition among Small Business Concerns qualified under the criteria and size standards in 13 CFR 121 for SIC Code 2759 (500 employees). The Presidio Trust is a wholly owned federal government corporation and is not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
