Description

The Library of Congress intends to issue blanket purchase agreements (BPA's) for affordable high-quality photographic reproductions of the Library of Congress collections on a short turn-around basis. Several BPA's will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Requirements include the following; off-site photographic reproductions from copy negatives in black and white and color, and transparancies and slide in black and white and color. The films vary in size (standard to nonstandard sizes) and condition (poor, average, good, or excellent). Final product will be primarily black and white 8" x 10", 11" x 14", 16" x 20" and 20" x 24" RC glossy, and matte prints in various qualities (reproduction quality, exhibition quality, and special requirements). Other final products may include duplicate transparancies, color slides, and black and white negatives. Most of the requested reproductions are required by non-Library customers who use the reproductions for publication purposes; therefore, high-quality reproductions in extremely short time frames (as little as 24-hour turnaround for some orders) are required. Interested parties are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references sufficient to determine capability to meet above requirements.
