Description

THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR DAAE20-01-T-0023 REPLACES THE NOTICE (5055F8)FOR DAAE20-01-T-0010 WHICH WAS CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON THE WEB ON OR ABOUT 16 NOVEMBER 2000. The item is a Connecting Link, M242 25MM Machine Gun, NSN 3040-01-300-3156, Part Number 12524487. This requirement is for a quantity of 100 each. Part is machined STAINLESS STEEL, Precipitation Harden to Condition H1025; Surface treatment is per QQ-P-35; 2 threaded holes to M6 X 1-6H; 2 slots 8.0MM. LG by 4.76MM. Overall length is 147.84MM. An approved Acceptance Inspection Equipment Description will be required prior to production. This item is to be produced IAW ISO 9002 quality standards or above. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 16 November 2000. NOTICE: AWARD WILL NOT BE MADE BASED ON PRICE ALONE, BUT ON EVALUATION OF PRICE AND PAST PERFORMANCE. PAST PERFORMANCE IS CONSIDERED MORE IMPORTANT THAN PRICE. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
