Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, USZA99-01-Q-0019, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acuqisition Circular 97-12. This Request for Quotation is a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 52.219-1. NSWDG intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Relative Workshop, Deland, Florida. Clin 0001, Quantity 5 ea, Military Tandem Vector System, SOV Tandem Vector V13 w/421 reserve and 421 main, set up for CYPRES ONLY, DO NOT include AR2 Pocket, light inverted pocket and pinpuller pocket. Clin 0002, Quantity 10 ea, Part Number MTVD/72B Silver, Military Tandem Vector Drogue, 71"B Silver. Clin 0003, Quantity 10 ea, Part Number MTVD/60B White, Military Tandem Vector Drogue, 60"B White. Clin 0004, Quantity 30 ea, Part Number VCLM, Loop, Main closing with washer. Clin 0005, Quantity 15 ea, Part Number TVBH, Breakaway Handle. Clin 0006, Quantity 10 ea, Part Number TVRSL, Reserve Static Line Lanyard. Clin 0007, Quantity 30 ea, Part Number TVDRL, Drogue Release Loop. Solicitation Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical Items (Jun 1999) is hereby incorporated by reference. Solicitation Provisions FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) is hereby incorporated. The government will make a determination of best value based on the evaluation factors cited. Contractors are reminded to submit a complete copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jun 1999) with their quote, if readily available. If not, clause will be forwarded for completion prior to award. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Items and Conditions -- Commerical Items (May 1999) is hereby incorporated by reference. The Defense Priority and Allocations Systems (DPAS) assigned rating for this procurement is unrated. Signed and dated quotes referencing RFQ number USZA99-01-Q-0019 must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. 22 November 2000, to Becky Pohlmann at NSWDG. The quotes must provide sufficient detail on the proposed material for the government to make a determination.
