Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: F33630-01-T-0008 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Classification Code of 3633 and a North American Industry Classification System code of 33422, with a size standard of 750. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Youngstown Air Reserve Station has a requirement for one (1) Multi-Band, Multi-Mission radio communication system (Part Number: AN/PRC-94FC). This system consists of the following: AN/PRC-117F multi-band, Multi-mission radio, RF-5800N-V131 Multi-Band VAU Kit consisting of a vehicle/base station adapter unit, shock tray, 2 each coaxial cables, and installation/operational/maintenance manual(s). Manufacturer: Harris Corporation or equal. The place of delivery will be the Youngstown Air Reserve Station, BASE SUPPLY/LGSD BLDG 208, 3976 King Graves Road, Vienna Ohio 44473-5927.This requirement will be awarded on a (all or none basis). The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items is hereby included by reference. The following is a addendum to FAR 52.212-1;at Paragraph (e) multiple offers has been determined by the Contracting Officer to be non-acceptable to this solicitation and is hereby removed in its entirety for the purpose of this requirement. FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items shall be completed and submitted with quotation. FAR Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items hereby applies to this solicitation. The following are addenda to FAR 52.212-4. The following FAR Clause is hereby incorporated by reference:52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes and Executive Orders-Commercial Items hereby applies to this acquisition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: FAR 52-232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration and DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration requires registration in the CCR Database. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their quote in accordance with their standard commercial practices but must include the following information: Company's quoted price will include the total cost including freight charges. Also, include whether the system quoted is an open market quote or priced on a Federal Supply Schedule. Complete mailing address and remittance address, discounts for prompt payment (I.E. 1%N15), company_s cage code, Dun & Bradstreet Number, Tax I.D, and warranty. The government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the government based on price and other non-related price factors. Delivery shall be completed thirty (60) calendar days after award.
