Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Hospital Shared Services to acquire the following: Scientek SW3000 Glassware Washer, recessed, with a single drop down door. Standard Features Include: Load clearance 25_w x 25_d x 19_h, Automatic microprocessor controller cycle, Insulated chamber top and sides, Stainless steel pump, 7.5 hp, Stainless steel cabinet and piping, Stainless steel hold down screen, Stainless steel pneumatic control valves, Glassware hold down screen, multi position, and DI water final rinse. Control panel includes: Illuminated on/off switch, Cycle step indicator lights, Two position cycle selector switch, C1/C2, Two position detergent selector switch, Digital temperature display with last rinse guarantee, Extended wash timer, DI water final rinse by-pass switch and Emergency stop button. Air powered booster tank for DI rinse, One automated liquid detergent dispenser, Steam sump heater or electric sump heater, and Graham heat exchanger or electric heat exchanger. The glassware washer shall be compatible with Better Built Glassware Washer accessories carts, racks and header tray. The price shall include the removal of the old washer and installation of the new washer. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirements shall submit written quotations by the due date referenced above. No solicitation will be issued therefore, request for such shall be considered non-responsive. The award is being issued on a sole source basis because the contractor is the only known source for a glassware washer compatible with the Better Built Glassware Washer. SEE NOTE 1
