- Description
- The Department of Veteran Affairs, Medical Center, San Francisco, CA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302, see Note 22. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The following is the salient characteristics of the item under this procurement requirement. Galaxy System, which features Multiple Image Display, cross-section, longitudinal and x-ray. Automatic lumen trace assist function. Integrated automatic pullback control and disposable sled. PC Platform-digital storage and retrieval. Image bookmarking, DICOM compatibility. Convenient user interface. Integrated database and report management. Intuitive push-button operation. Ability to display on X-ray monitor. High resolution color monitor, (1 ea). Mfr: Boston Scientific Scimed. This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source contract to Boston Scientific Scimed, Natick, MA 01760 for the procurement of this system. Responsible sources who are interested in this procurement are required to submit in response clear and convincing information that identifies their capabilities. In addition the offeror must substantiate their offer with technical data, brochures, price list or catalog, terms and conditons, delivery schedule, etc. If this commodity is available under GSA contract, please provide the GSA schedule. All responses must be received by November 16, 2000 by 13:00 p.m., PST. Offers must be delivered via fax to FAX number: 415-750-2170, ATTN: M. GRACIANO or via email: maria.graciano@med.va.gov. or via mail to: Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121, M/S -- MG/90/CCA -- BLDG. 6. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests for a solicitation will be considered nonresponsive. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required infromation will be fully considered. Questions may be faxed to the number listed above. All responses shall include the DUNS number, TAX ID Code number and Fax number. In addition, the contractor is required to register with the Department of Contractor Registry (CCR) in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, competed with resulting award under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Responsible firms responding to this synopsis will be considered if the action is competed. This is a one-time procurement. The Government does not anticipate any future procurements for same or similar items.*****
