Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 under the authority of subpart 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Any request for a solicitation will be disregarded. All responses received from responsible sources within 10 days of the date of the publication of this synopsis will be fully considered. The solicitation number is NMA10001Q0005 and this solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency wishes to procure the following COGNOS Software Maintenance Renewal, on a sole source basis from its manufacture, Cognos Corporation. See Note 22 (with a restricted time frame of 10 days). CLIN: 0001 Maintenance Renewal on Power Play Client and Connectors packs Qty: 1 ea. CLIN: 0002 Maintenance Renewal on Power Play Server Web Edition Qty: 1 ea. CLIN: 0003 Maintenance Renewal on Power Play Admin Server edition Qty: 1 ea. CLIN: 0004 Maintenance Renewal on Power Play Admin Database Edition Qty: 10 ea. CLIN: 0005 Maintenance Renewal on Improptu Client and connector Paks Qty: 1 ea. CLIN: 0006 Maintenance Renewal on Impromptu Request Server Qty: 1 ea. CLIN: 0007 Maintenance Renewal on Impromtu Administration Qty: 10 ea. Provision at 52.212-2, evaluation -- commercial items, is hereby incorporated by reference. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical acceptability and price. Offers are to include commercial price list, a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification -- Commercial Items, and the provision at DFARS 52.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, with the offer. In accordance with provision at 252.204-7001, Cage Code Reporting; Offeror is to provide Cage Code with the offer, the clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms/Conditions Commercial Items applies to this acquisition with no addenda. CBD Note 22 applies to this acquisition. Under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302.1 only one responsible source and no other items/services will satisfy agency requirements.
