Description

This is a sole source, combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13.5 as well as supplemental information provided herein. This non-competitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Entrust Technologies, Inc., 750 Heron Road, Suite 608, Ottawa, ON is the developer and only source that can provide annual maintenance for the Entrust proprietary software utilized by the Patent and Trademark Office. The PTO will be issuing a firm fixed priced purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the RFP and is the only solicitation that will be issued. A sole source proposal is being requested pursuant to this announcement and shall reference requisition number 1930150006. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-20, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1. The maintenance of the software products procured herein will be effective for a twelve-month period. A proposal shall be delivered to the Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement, 2011 Crystal Drive, CPK 1, Suite 810, Arlington, VA 22202, Attention: Ms. Joan Hanicak, no later than 2:00 PM (EST) on November 3, 2000.
