Description

USDA Forest Service plans to award one (1) indefinite delivery contract for Architectural Engineering services. The scope of the contract includes field investigations, studies, reports, lifecycle cost analysis, construction cost estimates, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, design, contract management, product research including architectual, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, landscape architecture and drafting services and other related activities. Estimated contract start date is April 2, 2001. The contract will be awarded for one year, with two, one year Government options to renew; depending on availability of funds and contractor performance. Minimum guarantee for each contract period will be $2,500; maximum ordering limitation will be $250,ooo for any single order. In addition to criteria listed in Note 24, special criteria include: (5) firm must be dominciled in Central California, with the capabilities to support the following project areas: Sierra, Sequoia, Stanislaus, Inyo National Forests, Lake Tahoe Basin, Eldorado and the Tahoe National Forest, (6) Firm must have in-house AutoCad, version 2000 capability, (7)facility design in the $100,000 to $1,000,000 construction cost range, and (8) Award will be based on the following evaluation criteria: Professional qualifications, specialized experience and technical competence, capacity to accomplish the work in the required time, past performance and location and knowledge of the locality of the project areas.
