Description

Indefinite Quantity Contract for Low Pressure Air Compressor Electric Motor Preventive Maintenance Repair/Renewal at PWC Building 149, Naval Shipyard, Oahu, Hawaii. The Contractor shall perform preventive maintenance work to four Ideal Electric Company low pressure air compressor electric motors. The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, parts, material, equipment, and transportation necessary to disassemble, inspect, clean, bake, dip, dynamic balance, lubricate, reassemble, paint, and test electric motors to the manufacturer's original design and technical specifications. The Contractor shall also provide cleaning of motor windings due to oil contamination or other foreign material getting into the windings. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is replacing the Standard Industry Code Classification (SIC). The NAICS Code for this procurement is 81131 (previously SIC 7694). The contract term will be a base period of 12 months plus four one-year options. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. This is an unrestricted solicitation. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil when it becomes available. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit technical, past performance and experience information, and price proposal for evaluation by the Government.
