See note #22. This announcement is for information purposes only and will be made on a sole source basis by 11/15/00. This award is a planned solicitation under the simplified acquisition process. The Food and Drug Administration [FDA], Center for Food Safety & Applied Nurition [CFSAN], intends to award a sole source purchase order to 3COM Corporation, Vienna, VA., for a maintenance service for the fiscal year 2001 for technical support, maintenance, and exchange of network hardware. This procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The following provision also applies to this acquisition: 52-232.33 Mandatory Information Electronic Funds Transfer Payment.
