Description

Major tasks will include engineering services and systems integration support associated with the United Kingdom (UK) TRIDENT II (D-5) Program, including the overhaul of UK SSBN's with TRIDENT missile capability (UK TRIDENT) and in-service Vanguard Class TRIDENT II (D5) Strategic Weapon System (UK TRIDENT SWS) operations and maintenance. Programmable Automatic Cable Tester (PRACT) materials will also be procured as part of the effort. The proposed contract will include two option provisions to increase the level of effort up to 30%. The period of performance will be 1 April 2001 through 30 September 2001. Award will be made using other than full and open competition to BAE SYSTEMS Applied Technologies Inc., Rockville, Maryland, as directed by the United Kingdom. See Note 22 ****
