Description

On behalf of the Office of the Chief Army Reserve (OCAR) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to award a sole source commercial contract to The Balanced Scorecard for Government, Inc. The requirement is for continued consulting services under extreme stringent timelines that are crucial to OCAR in meeting the requirements of the Congressionally legislated Government Performance and Results Act. Other contractors may be able to supply a similar type of methodology, however the balanced scorecard is instantly linkable to the Army Plan , provides an alignment path for the various Reserve organizations and Field Activities, and provides continuity under OCAR's current methodology. The period of performance is from the award date to 30 September 2001. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price with reimbursable line items. There is NO solicitation document. This notice is not a request for proposals. Interested firms may send a capabilities statement to the attention of Pat Denard, DSS-W, 5200 Army Pentagon, Room 1C256, Division E, Washington, D.C. 20310-5200. Capability statements must be received by this office within 15 days from publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
