PROJECT TITLE AND LOCATION: Guadalupe River Project, Contract 3C, Phase 2, Santa Clara County, California. JOB DESCRIPTION: Project includes approximately 2200 linear feet of bank stabilization consisting of gabion baskets, concrete riverwalks, concrete slope paving, and concrete terraces with gabion fill and approx. 6500 square yards of invert stabilization constructed of cellular concrete mattress with a low flow channel. There will be approx. 2700 cubic yards of reinforced concrete retaining walls and approx. 2800 cubic yards of reinforced concrete box culvert to be tied to an existing culvert under Woz Way. There will be an approx. 5,000 square foot overlook plaza above the inlet to the new box culvert opening with an approx. 600 cubic yard reinforced concrete weir at the opening of the entrance to the culvert. Ground cover and trees will be planted along with the installation of an irrigation system and some area lighting. Temporary shoring will be required in the vicinity of several Caltrans structures during construction. NAICS Code: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code 234990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $27,500,000.00. Estimated cost is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. INVITATION FOR BID (IFB): The acquisition method is Invitation for Bid (IFB). Orders received beyond the CUT OFF DATE of 11/13/00 will not be honored. Plans and specifications will be mailed out on or about 11/14/00. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced, copies are limited to one set per firm. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. See Note 26.
