- Description
- Automated Lighting Control to be done at the E.M. Dirksen Federal Building, 219 S. Dearborn Street and the J.C. Kluczynski Federal Building, 230 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois. Replace existing panels with Lon Works based intelligent breaker panel to control individual lighting circuits with time of day schedule and manual override switches shall be integrated into Lon Works based energy system. The work shall be done in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The owner shall purchase all Breaker panels for the Contractor's installation. All other material shall be provided by the Contractor. For the J.C. Kluczynski Federal Building install four(4) manual override stations (one per each quandrant of the floor). For the E.M. Dirksen Federal Building install six(6) manual override stations per each floor. Installations shall apply to all floors of both buildings, except the following floors: 11, 12, & 13 in the J.C. Kluczynski Federal Building, and floors 8, 9, & 10 in the E.M. Dirksen Federal Building. Contractor shall be responsible for initial programming of the system including identifying all lighting circuits in a floor by floor schedule and establishing the initial time of day schedule for each circuit. Contractor shall provide adequate time for training building personnel. The estimated start date is January 1, 2001. The estimated price range is $500,000.00 and $700,000.00. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1731. Women owned businesses are encouraged to apply. This procurememt is open to both small and large businesses.
