RFQ-IBET-03-01-013 PIPE PURCHASE, DUE 11/13/00 BY CLOSE OF BUSINESS (4:30 PM). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is set aside for small business; all responsible sources may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The NAICS Code is 326122 with the standard size classification of 500 employees. The Forest Service needs pipe and miscellaneous fittings to be delivered to project site. SITE LOCATION: On Cemetery Road, approximately 4 miles east of Hwy. 395 (on the north shore of Mono Lake, north of the town of Lee Vining. (map available upon request from Larry Ford). This requirement is for a fixed price contract for two line items as follows: Line Item 01: Quantity 10,000 Feet of 12 inch SOLID WALL DRAIN PIPE WITH BUILT-IN COUPLING 9I/B) ADS 12N12 or equivalent. Line Item 02: MISCELLANEOUS FITTING TO INCLUDE: (A) 40 each COUPLINGS w/GASKET, (B) 14 each 45 degree BEND, (C) 2 each 90 degree BEND, and (D) SUFFICIENT LUBRICANT FOR CONNECTING 10,100 FEET OF PIPE. Delivery to project site is to be 5 to 7 working days after receipt of order.
