- Description
- The government intends to procure on a competitive basis an order for the following: 1. Environmental Temperature Chamber, qty: 1 each. Specs: Chamber Interior Dimensions of "Test Area": Min Height 36.0", Min Width 36.0", Min Depth 36.0"; Chamber Exterior Dimensions of Equipment: Max Height 80", Max Width 45", Max Depth 50"; Chamber Internal Configuration of "Test Area": Capable of installing two heavy duty shelves in the chamber at various vertical locations within the chamber test area; Chamber Equipment Access Configuration: Front swinging door such that when fully swung open, entire frontal area of the internal chamber test area is exposed; Chamber Weight: Not to exceed 1000 lbs.; Chamber Portability: Mounted on wheels; Chamber Installation: Chamber requires no specialized hookups to operate other than a power source (i.e. no plumbing; no special hazardous waste controls..etc.)Chamber placement only requires the access to the proper power and a floor which can support the weight; Chamber Cabling Ports: Capable to have two 4"-6" ports located at user specified locations for cabling of Unit Under Test to external equipment; Chamber Window Dimensions: Minimal Height 7", Minimal Width 13"; Chamber Temperature Control: Capable of setting the desired temperature in the chamber test area to any temperature within the High/Low Temperature Range. Controller can be interfaced to a PC via RS232C and driven by user-friendly software; Chamber Temperature Monitoring: Capable of monitoring the temperature of the internal ambient air temperature surrounding the Units Under Test. Capable of monitoring the temperature of the temperature of a Unit Under Test; Chamber High Temperature Capability: Capable of attaining a maximum high temperature of no less than +60 Degrees C; Chamber Low Temperature Capability: Capable of attaining a maximum low temperature of no less than -50 Degrees C; Chamber Temperature Change Rates: Ramp up(-40 to +54 with load)no less than 11 Degrees C/Min, Ramp down(+54 to -40 with load) no less than 2 Degrees C/Min, Load will be: Two 50 lb masses dissipating 1000 watts each. Each load will consist of two items with dimensions of: Item 1: Terminal 13.5"L x 7.5"W x 7.6"H, Weight: 50.6 lbs, Item 2: Remote Power Supply (RPS) 13.5"L x 2.25"W x 6.6"H, Weight: 14.3 lbs; Chamber Humidity Control: Standalone dry nitrogen purge to eliminate/control humidity; Chamber Interior Material: Interior of chamber utilitize non-corrosive materials; Chamber Thermal Conduction Control: Chamber designed to limit communication of heat/heat loss due to temperature differential between the internal chamber and the external environment; Power requirements: 208V/70A. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on responsive, responsible, technically acceptable low offers. Competitive awards may be based on the evaluation criteria stipulated in the Red, Yellow, Green (RYG) Contractor Evaluation System. No telephone requests will be accepted.
