Description
70Software. Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Washington, D.C. intends to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Metron/ TerrAlign Incorporated of Reston, Virginia for five(5)licenses of TerrAlign MapInfo, OptAlign Edition (excludes MapInfo software and one(1)License of Driving Time Database for OptAlign Edition with the following minimum functional specifications should be met: Integrated within MapInfo Professional; Data setup Wizard; Expanded (as compared to the redistricter) manual realignment tools; Reassign geography or accounts between territories; Add, delete, and rename territories; Change and save territory color and patterns; User-defined field force hierarchy; Automatic map shading at each level in field force hierarchy; Reassign territories between managers to manage reporting relationships; Automatic and dynamic graphs and browsers; Save "what-if" scenarios; Focus on a subset of your field force; TerraMaps Automatically prints a close-up map of every territory; Reports Automatically generates Assignment, Gain/Loss, and Summary reports; Automatically estimate average travel time to each location; and automatically balances territories on any variable you choose (both international and domestic geography); Automatically creates compact territories; Recommends optimal territory centers for rep placement; Set centers as fixed or free; Automatically creates call plans that assigns each customer to a set of weeks or days based on its call frequency, schedules a balanced share of calls for each week or day, and geographically clusters customers to minimize travel time between calls. These plans can be divided into 2 through 31 periods. As well as meeting these functional specifications, it should have a program that minimizes drive time. This will be accomplished by using a drive time network, which can provide added benefit to the territory optimization output. The optimizer will balance each territory on a selected attribute and minimizes the average size of the territories. The Drive Time Database allows one to see which highways make travel easier, and allowing for mountains and rivers that serve as physical barriers, and where tunnels or bridges permit travel through those barriers would allow for an alternate travel route. This award shall be made using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. Telephonic responses will not be considered. Written responses only should be forwarded to Mr. Jeffrey Non, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps (Code LBC), Washington, D.C. 203801775.
