Description

The government requires the following: A Requirements type contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Fairbanks Morse Engine Division, for Technical Representative Services to provide technical guidance and advice in the on-site emergent repair, disassembly, inspection, parts replacement and testing certification of the OEM Diesel Engines -- NR3 Ships Service Diesel Generator Engines (SSDG) and Main Propulsion Diesel Engines (MPDE) on board naval vessels. FOB: Destination. Services are to be performed at the various Western Pacific sites including, but not limited to the Naval Ship Repair Facilities in Yokosuka and Sasebo Japan. Notes 22 applies. Period of Performance: 12 months from the date of award, with two option years. The technology and techniques required to perform this effort have been determined to be proprietary to Fairbanks Morse Engine Division.
