Description

On Thursday, 16 Nov 2000, the Eglin AFB Small Business Office will co-sponsor a Small Business Procurement Conference at the Sandestin Beach Hilton, Destin FL. Over 30 federal, state/local government agencies, and large defense contractors will be represented. Small businesses will have an opportunity to discuss their capabilities with these representatives and find out what business opportunities are available. Small Business attendees will not have booths. There will also be seminars on current acquisition topics; the final seminar agenda should be posted on the web site by Monday the 6th. The agenda and registration form are available on the Eglin Small Business web site at http://www.eglin.af.mil/contracting. You can also call 850-882-2843,x5 or e-mail patty.uhrig@eglin.af.mil to request a copy of the flyer or get additional information. The conference begins at 8:00am CT and ends at 4:00pm. The registration fee is $10 per person for those registered by 13 Nov and $20 the day of the conference. Payment must be by check or cash (we cannot accept a credit card). Rooms are no longer available at the Hilton for 15 Nov; however, other nights may be available at a rate of $68. Their number is 800-367-1271 or 850-267-9500. There will be a networking social at the hotel on Wednesday evening, the 15th, from 5:30 to 7:30CT.
