Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, FCI Dublin, located at 5701 8th Street, Camp Parks, Dublin, CA 94568 is soliciting for a ESL Instructor to provide English as a second language to inmates incarcerated at the FCI. The teachings of reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills of English will be taught. The development of methods and materials for teaching ESL including curriculum development will be mandatory. The contractor is expected to have extensive knowledge in pedagogical techniques. The contractor will address all instructional and programmatic ESL directives provided by the Supervisor of Education. These services will be provided on a scheduled basis. Services shall be provided Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30AM to 11:00AM every week (excluding federal holidays). Services will be required for a one year base period, with four-one(1) year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The period of performance is as follows: The Base year of the contract shall be from Date of Award, through 09/30/01; Option Period One: 10/01/01-09/30/02; Option Period two: 10/01/02-09/30/03; Option Period three: 10/01/03-9/30/04; and Option period four: 10/01/04-09/30/05.
