Description

The work consists of removing existing lead base paint from the interior of both the Yaquina Head Light house and the oil house and repainting both. All work shall comply with the Historic Lighthouse Preservation Handbook for sale by the US Gov't Printing Office, Superintendent of Documents, Mail stop SSOP, Washington, DC 20402-9328, ISBN 0-16-049104-5. A copy is available for review at the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area (YHONA) interpretive complex in Newport, Oregon. The Contractor is responsible for all lead paint containment, testing and disposal. No work shall be performed within the lens room. Project site is located in Lincoln County, Salem District, Oregon. Project price range is between $100,000 and $150,000. Estimated start work is January 10, 2001 and performance time is 45 calendar days. Bonds are required -- Bid Bond: 20%; Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 100%. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
