Description
Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to modify existing JP-5 fuel system at the U. S. Coast Guard Group, Key West, Florida. The work includes the following: (a) Modifying existing JP-5 fuel system and compressed air piping Pier D-2, (b) Replacing aboveground and underground fuel piping, (c) Connecting piping and electrical to existing fuel dispensers, and (d) Providing emergency electrical disconnect switch and pump control stations, and (e) Providing compressed air piping and outlets. There is no charge for the bid package. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is unrestricted and is open to all small, woman-owned business concerns, disadvantaged, HUBZones and large business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by this agency. All bid requests must be submitted in writing. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The performance period is 90 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 22493. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipts of $27.5 million. A bid guarantee, payment, and performance bonds are required. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT_s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds in contracts up to $1,000,000.00. DOT_s Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000.00 with interest at the prime rate.
