Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst NJ, intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis with Kaiser Electroprecision for the following hardware for the KC-130J aircraft: Coupling and Hose Assembly (p/n 0043-0035-1), quantity 4 each. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, software or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will be solely within the discretion of the Government.
