Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is seeking companies capable of providing an ultra-violet (UV) curing system for the 1989 Heidelberg 6 Color 102SP, Model No. 528858, sheet-fed offset printing press located in Washington, D. C. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This RFP is identified by solicitation No. BEP-01-05 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This acquisition is unrestricted. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The price shall include UV-Curing System, Training and Chiller Credit. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333298. The following factors, listed in descending order of importance, will be used to evaluate offerors: (1) equipment attributes, (2) previous experience, (3) past performance, (4) delivery schedule and (5) price. BEP personnel will conduct a pre-award survey of the facility of each offeror in the competitive range.
