Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT to award a sole-source procurement to RFL Electronics in Boonton Township, New Jersey, for the following equipment which meets the requirements for the Western Area Power Administration, and is only manufactured by RFL: (1) RFL module, common logic card, CM-3R, P/N 9547-15885, quantity of 100 each. This purchase will be done under Simplified Acquisitions procedures as authorized in FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent does NOT constitute a request for quotes; however, equivalents to the above-mentioned RFL module may be considered with a written response and MUST be accompanied by clear and convincing evidence that an equivalent, meeting our requirement and compatible with other RFL-IMUX equipment, is available and more advantageous to the Government than to award to RFL Electronics. Resultant responses can be faxed to 602-352-2483, attention Iris Cotto. If no affirmative response(s) is/are received within 14 days after publication (approximately 11/17/2000) of this notice, a sole-source purchase order will be negotiated with RFL Electronics.
