Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to perform preventive maintenance on electrical devices and equipment located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1310 24th Ave., S., Nashville, TN 37212. Work includes inspection, cleaning, tightening, and testing of switchgear, panel breakers, disconnects, motor controllers, and control devices, including the testing of emergency generators. Infrared temperature survey and scanning is required. All work shall be performed between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. Work shall commence the first week of February 2001 and shall be completed over a period of four weekends. SIC Code is 7629. Offers will be evaluated based on the following criteria: 1) Company Experience and Demonstrated Ability; 2) Personnel Qualifications; 3)Resources including equipment and manpower; 4) Past Performance; 5) Price. Award of firm-fixed price contract will be based on best value recognizing the above criteria. Solicitation documents will be available o/a 11/13/00.
