Description

The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York comprising of the Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, NY; VA Medical Center's at Bath, Syracuse and Canandaiqua, NY; VA Western New York Healthcare System, Buffalo, NY is entering into negotiations with American Red Cross, 636 S. Warrren Street, Syracuse, NY 13202. All interested parties are requested to give written notification including all pertinent data (descriptive literature, specifications, etc). Send information to Contracting Officer (90NCA), Stratton VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208, FAX Number: 518-462-0051. The proposed contract action is for Whole Blood, Red Cells and other Blood Components for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
