Description

The U. S. Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS) intends to award a commercial item sole-source simplified acquisition to Initial Healthcare, Inc. (formerly Rentokil Environmental Services), 1404-1406 Belleville Street, Richmond, VA 23230, based on 41 USC 253 (1) of one-responsible source. This requirement will provide for complete environmental services at 3700 East-West Highway, Hyattsville, MD (PGMC-II). Services shall include: 1) 64 Sanitact Units placed in restrooms for the disposal of feminine napkins and tampons, providing an anti-bacterial aide which kills bacteria and does not require the use of metal containers which breed germs. The feminine hygiene units are serviced twice per month. No solicitation is available for this requirement. The period of performance for this order will be for the base period, from December 1, 2000 through November 30, 2001 and two option years beginning December 1, 2001. Responsible sources are invited to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by submitting supportive documentation. This documentation must clearly show prior experience in providing the services detailed above. Vendors interested in submitting proposals must submit pricing and technical data. FAR 52-212-1. Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. The government will award a purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to the responsible offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the government. The offers will be evaluated on the basis the best value to the government, based on both technical and price proposals. FAR 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The clauses may be viewed at http://www.arnet.gov/far. Responses must be in writing and must be received within ten (10) calendar days of the publication of this notice. Responses must include the Representations and Certifications.
