Description

The work in this project is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision as necessary to clean the exterior surfaces of 8 Portal Cranes, 1 Stiffleg Derrick Crane and apply bird repellant at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine. The contractor shall use industrial power washing/steam cleaning equipment. The contract will include a base period of one year with options for up to an additional four years. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561720 with a size standard of $12,000,000. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The resultant contract will include Service Contract Act and Fair Labor Standards Act labor clauses. The response date shown above is an estimated date. Once issued, the Bidders/Offerors interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project can download the solicitation from the e-sol web site at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Be advised for solicitation issued after May 31, 1998, failure to registered in the CCR makes an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts.
