Description

The project is located on the Magazine Ranger District, Logan County, Arkansas. Eickleberry Road No. 1613 consist of reconstructing 3.81 miles of existing roadway. The work will include Clearing, Grubbing, Burning & Stump Removal, Removal of Culverts, Cattlegard,& Steel Gate. Construction of V, Flat Bottom, Wing & Lead-Off Ditches. Purchase, Load, Haul & Apply Class 5 Aggregate and Class 8 Aggregate, Recondition Existing Roadway, Mobilization, Furnish & Install 18" Polymeric Coated Steel Pipe, 24" Polymeric Coated Steel Pipe, 30" Polymeric Coated Steel Pipe, Purchase, Haul & Machine-Place Class V Rip Rap, Seed, Fertilize and Mulch, Furnish and Install Warning Signs. Unnamed Road No. 1637B conisist of reconstructing 0.67 miles of existing roadway. The work will include Furnishing and Installing a Nonwoven Geotextile, Clearing & Grubbing(Scattering), Excavation, Purchase, Load, Haul & Apply 4" Screened Aggregate, Install 14 Foot Steel Gate, Seed, Fertilize & Mulch. The range for this project is Between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation for this project will be mailed out to contractors approximately on November 29, 2000. There will be a Pre-Bid tour for this project. The location, date and time will be included in the solicitation package. The Bid Opening will be approximately on January 4, 2001.
