Description

This project includes, but is not limited to, providing all the labor, materials, and supervision for interior remodeling of three seperate office areas (2,200SF; 7,900SF) on the second floor of the Charles Chamberlain Federal Building, 315 West Allegan, Lansing, Michigan. Demolition will include carpet, ceiling tiles, partitions, doors, frames, some ductwork, electrical wiring. New work consists of installation of new gypsum wallboard and steel partitions, hollow metal frames, wood doors, hardware, casework, vinyl composition tile, acoustical ceiling tiles, carpet, paint, plumbing, modifications to the existing HVAC system, temperature control and electrical power. Existing ceiling diffusers, air grills, lighting fixtures and recessed fire alarm speakers are to remain/or to be relocated to accommodate the new space planning and ceiling system. Offers will be accepted from Small Business Concerns only. The NAICS is 233320 (formerly SIC 1542) and the small business size standard is $27.5 Mil. The estimated cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The solicitation will be posted on or about 12/16/00. GSA is issusing this solicitation electronically only. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://eps.arnet.gov. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and drawings. It is also the offerors responsible to monitor the site for possible amendments and/or additional information.
