Description

The work includes all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to furnish and install pre-engineered modular shelters and incidental related work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine. The contract will be for a base period of one year with options for up to two additional years. The guaranteed minimum for the contract is 15% of the total contract price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 233320 with a size standard of $27,500,000. This acquisition is being conducted using full and open competition (unrestricted) and is therefore subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.219-4, "Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns." The response date shown above is an estimated date. Once issued, the Bidders/Offerors interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project can download the solicitation from the e-sol web site at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Be advised for solicitation issued after May 31, 1998, failure to registered in the CCR makes an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts.
