Description

To furnish all equipment, materials, labor and expert supervision to modify 4B patient wards to office areas located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, New Orleans, LA. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds and a 90 day bid acceptance period is mandatory. Pre-bid/walk-thru will be held on December 4, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Bid opening will be held December 19, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. Both will take place at the DVA Medical Center, 1601 Perdido Street, Building 2, Room 405, New Orleans, LA 70146. All requests for bid documents must be in writing and accompanied by a $100.00 refundable bid deposit. Acceptable forms of deposits are certified checks, cashier's check or money order only. Issue date of drawings and specifications is o/a November 20, 2000 and will be issued on a first come first serve basis. The construction range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542 -- General Contractors -- Nonresidential Buildings, other than Industrial Buildings & Warehouse -- $17.0 million.
