- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation DACW29-01-T-0011 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This is a 100% small business set-aside, therefore bidding is RESTRICTED to Small Business Concerns. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7699 and the business size standard is $5 million average annual receipts. This announcement is for an Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract. The following is required: The U S Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for a contractor to provide the management, supervision, personnel and miscellaneous administrative supplies for the performance of Hydraulic Field Service and Shop Repair to service Hydraulic systems aboard the USACE Dredge Wheeler. The period of performance will be for the base year with four option years. Each phase of the services required under this contract is subject to Government inspection during the Contractors performance of the tasks and after completion of tasks. The Contractor will be subject to a deduction from any monies due for unsatisfactory performance and is required to correct all deficiencies. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government. Price and past performance being of equal value of importance. The Government may award a contract on the basis of initial offers received; without discussions. Therefore, each initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a cost, price, technical standpoint. ONLY fax requests for this RFP will be honored.
