Description

The U.S. Army communication Electronics Command, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) will issue Solicitation DAAB07-01-R-J011 on a sole-source basis to Motorola, Inc. of Scottsdale, Arizona. This proposed sole-source acquisition will be for up to approximately 5000 Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP), Combat Identification for Dismounted Soldier (CIDDS)equipment sets and spares. This acquisition will be implemented by awarding a fixed-price type contract which will be structured with quantities separated into a base year and four one-year options to accommodate funding and fielding schedules. A Time and Materials (T&M) contract line item (CLIN)will also be included to provide for on-call fielding support and depot maintenance and repair services. Numbered Notes 22 and 26 apply to this acquisition.
