This is a Combined Sysnopsis/Solicitation for commercial a item, preparied in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. All respsonable sources may submit and offer. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation that will be issued. Solicitation Number is: Q4825403061101, applies and is issued for this prposal. This Solicitation will conduct and incorporate provisions and clauses that are in Acqisition Circular: 97-20 and Defense Circular: 91-13 (corrections). The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 5065. the Closing Date is: 21 November 2000, Time: 0800 Pacific Time. The Government intends to purchase the following under The Simplified Acquisition Procedures: 7 Each, Portable suit case radios low profile. radios transportable via commercial means, case, provisions for four transceivers, two encryption devices w/ power, built in racks,four power supplies, internal power buss, ready usable with computers, water resistant case w/ rollers, storage in case for cables and antennas. AC/DC power modules, internal batter for uninterruptible power. allows operation from nearly any AC/DC power source, internal battery allows operation of transceiver indepenently of external source,internal rechargeable battery. DC input range 11 to 36 VDC Mil-STD-1275, AC input range 95 to 270 VAC, 47 to 440 HZ, operating temp. -30C to +55C, storage temp. -30 to +55C, operating altitude 2,000 Ft., storage altitude 55,000 Ft., EMI MIL-STD-461, submersion 10 Ft., humidity 96% relative, rechargeable battery BB-490/U (sealed lead-acid).
