Description

This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS Code is 335911 (Sic 3691) The solicitation will be issued on or about November 27, 2000. The Government is going to conduct a pre-solicitation conference for this acquisition. It will be at Lane Hall, Bldg 702, Radio Avenue, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey on November 20, 2000 at 9:00 AM. It will last until approximately 12 noon, depending on contractor questions that may be raised. In addition, one-on-one discussions will be scheduled for after the conference with those companies that wish to participate. The purpose of the one-on-one sessions is to provide a forum for industry representatives to brief government personnel privately on their proprietary efforts. An overhead projector will be available. Each company briefing will be limited to one hour and will be conducted in a closed room, so that proprietary information may be presented. The purpose of the conference and the one-on-one discussions is to promote meaningful communication with industry. A written record will be made in order that information released by the Government which could be beneficial to all potential offeros, will be posted on the IBOP. During your presentation, you should note any information you consider proprietary and we will protect against revealing or transfusing that to another contractor. You may ask questions, but we may elect not to answer. You may discuss your aproach but the purpose of this meeting is not to approve your approach. If you plan to attend the conference and/or participate in the one-on-one disussions, please notify me by e-mail (Ruth.
