Contracting Office: Department of the Air Force, Air Force Material Command, Electronic Systems Center, HQ-SSG Standard System Group, Directorate of Contracting, 490 East Moore Dr. Suite 270 MAFB-Gunter Annex AL 36114-3000 Notice: Thank you for your interest in Information Technology Tools (IT2) program. IT2 provides a five-year framework to conduct a series of iterative acquisitions to fulfill Air Force Information Technology (IT) requirements as existing contractual vehicles expire or new requirements evolve. The next iterative acquisition is for the Desktops, Portables and Servers Supplier Market Category (SMC). Headquarters Standard Systems Group is seeking sources interested in participating in this acquisition. This is not a formal solicitation under FAR part 15 or 13 Simplified Acquisition, but an invitation to compete for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under the terms of your General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.4. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program manager or the contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of vendor responses, proposals, or in the source selection process.
