Description

Request For Information- The Social Security Administration seeks information on Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) database software products that focus on integrated telecommunications services. The product may be a standalone package or a customization of a commercial database product. The software products must be enterprise-scale to provide functionality for a nationwide telecommunications project. Specifically, the software products must provide: 1) detailed asset and order tracking functionality and 2) trouble ticketing functionality. Interested vendors of such software products should submit information describing their product to the address below. Submissions should include information about product scalability, hardware, software, and personnel requirements to implement the recommended database. Vendors should also provide a cost estimate and for installing, implementing and maintaining the system. This notice is issued as an Agency market research effort/ request for information and as such does not constitute a solicitation for offers. All materials submitted in response to this notice shall become property of the Social Security Administration. The Social Security Administration will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice, nor does the Social Security Administration guarantee response to submissions.
