Description

Provide professional mechanical engineering services under an IDIQ contract for the Northern Arizona VA Healthcare Network, Prescott, AZ. Contract will be awarded for one (1) year with the option for two (2) one-year renewals. Individual task orders will not exceed $75,000 and total award amount(s) are not to exceed $450,000 for all three (3) years. Work is expected to include, but not limited to, mechanical, civil, industrial hygiene, and fire protection. Individual task orders will be awarded as firm fixed price contracts and services may include system studies, problem analysis, product specification, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, working drawings and specifications, cost estimates, site visits and construction period services. Currently have anticipated need for two task orders that include "Replace Direct Buried Steam Lines", and "Correct HVAC Deficiencies" with estimated construction costs of $137,000 and $470,000 respectively. SIC 8712. Geographical limitation -- Firms must be located within 200 miles from the Medical Center. This is not a request for proposal. Interested firms are invited to submit SF254 and SF255 by 4:30PM December 8, 2000. Evaluation and selection will be based on qualifications stated under Note 24.
